Story:

In this movie, There were five tracks of sub-stories with different characters with their problems which are common and practical in today's India.

Firstly, The movie starts with a rock song performed by Manchu Manoj Kumar with his team members and his friend Lakha by forming a rock band in Bangalore. Manchu Manoj Kumar's ambition to become a good rock star. To aspire this aim he has to do live performance in Hyderabad with his team-mates. They are starting from Bangalore to Hyderabad.

Secondly, Nagayya old man is living with Daughter in law Saranya and his grand-son. They are weavers and illiterates. Nagayya has debt from local landlord Patel and he could not able to repay the interest levied on the principal to Patel. So, Patel captured his grand son who is a bright middle school student as a coolie in his brick making yard for ten years. So, Saranya decides to sell her kidney in order to get money to pay the debts to Patel for rescuing her son. Nagayya and Saranya starts from their village to Hyderabad through a broker.

Thirdly, Allu Arjun who is a cable guy lives in Jubliant slum. He is well educated and fakes him as a rich man and dates with a rich girl. He needs money to get an couple-pass for a party to show off his richness in front of his girl-friend's parents and through that he has to get consent from them for their marriage.

Fourthly, Manoj Bajpai who is Muslim living with his wife and parents in Hyderabad wants to go to Sarjah with his wife. Because his pregnant wife lost her foetus before the child birth during the Hindu-Muslim fight in past few months back. He is good and beloved person. But the police looks him as a terrorist and arrested on the basis doubt before one day on his departure to Sarjah.

And finally, Anushka who is a prostitute escapes from her pimp with her fellow-prostitute who is an eunuch to Hyderabad.

On 31st of December, All these above are happening and each one of them are facing hurdles and the hurdles which they are facing leads them to assemble in an hospital in Hyderabad. A gang of terrorists attacks the hospital as happened in Mumbai. In final, the climax reveals whether the attack is under-controlled or leads to multitude of deaths for innocent people and how each character of the movie were ending up with their problems.

Strength:

The screenplay of the movie is totally different when comparing to our contemporary movies. The screenplay has no confusions in forwarding the movie. Each character of this movie has its uniqueness and all of them in an unit demonstrates the various levels of society in real. Each track has its changeable hurdle which gives more attention in watching the movie.

In addition to the straight forwarded screenplay, the editing yet is sharpening the movie a bit plus. Especially, the camera work in Allu arjun part and Manchu Manoj Kumar part were amazing. We cant believe that Allu Arjun and Anuska has taken these kind of roles bravely. Hats off to them for selecting this kind of character. And the Notable performance in this film is delivered from Manoj Bajpai.

As his previous movie Gamyam, once again in this movie, Krish proves himself as a class director with his social thoughts. The background score gives more hype in tension creating scenes of the movie. Hats off to the team of this movie for giving such a wonderful movie which teaches us the mankind and wisdom.

Weakness:

The screenplay followed in this movie is reminding some English movies and gives some lag in the point of merging the sub plots into story line when comparing to them. The songs are not upto the mark as expected. Camara work in climax is not so perfectly done where there is scope of portrait losses and hurdles which happened as in Mumbai Taj Hotel Attack.

Overall, This movie is one of a trend-setter for the newer screenplay techniques and also for the sociopolitical-centric movies

Rating: 4/5. (Four out of Five stars)
