Has it delivered more than expectation? yes , Endhiran is no doubt a Jewel in Indian Cinema.

Story
Dr Vaseegaran( Rajini) a robotic-scientist creates a Android-humanoid robot and names that has Chitti(Rajini). Chitti's appearance is similar to Vaseegaran and programmed to do all the activities of human. Vasee's ambition is too dedicate his finding to the army but before that he indulges Chitti in the normal human life condition. Sana(Aishwariya bachan) a medical student lover of Vaseegaran is amazed with the activities of Chitti and gets the permission from him to take for couple of days to her home.
He Introduces Chitti in the international Robotic Conference and presents his multi- talents and its use to the Country. Dr Bohra (Danny) a Robotic professor and the member of Robotic council is jealous about Vasee' s Chitti . Vaseegaran is the student of him ,succeeds in Robotic know- hows and he has miserably failed lot of times in making Robo without knowing the Neuritic scheme programmed in Chitti . Due to that, he disapproves Chitti and label that a Stupid machine which is dangerous to human being ,chance to kill our own army persons. He also points out that it is different from human emotions, love,pain, hunger etc..
Dr vaseegaran reprograms it in the way to understand the human love,and other feelings and he succeeds. It grasps the attention of Public at the same time the human feel robot Chitti starts to love Sana the lover of Vaseegaran. There starts a split and Dr Vasee dismantle Chitti ,throws in garbage. Its Bhora time.... he finds the Chitti , creates him but this time with red chip- a destruction program. Whats happens next is shocking , suspense, blasting,amazing scenes which ends to futuristic climax.....
Strengths
Superstar is no doubt the biggest strength of the movie( one man show!!!!). It is best ever performance of Rajini (Chitti .....rockz) in the last few decades. As Chitti, he walks away with thunderous applause ,in specific the climax sequences. Hard work has been done by our superstar which makes us to feel Chitti as Robo and not Rajinikanth in the screen. Body language, voice Modulation, style, Dance,action,.....it is him man..
Aishwarya Rai as Sana steels the screen with beauty and performance. She has got the equal footage to super star and delivers it with ease. She looks stunning,Glamorous ,riveting in costumes and looks..her dance moves in Irumbila song is eye-catching and sexy..She is sure...epitome of beauty.
Other cast like Santhanam, karunas.etc,.,, justified their role. Not to forget the Danny the villian of the movie is great and brings freshness to this sci-fi script& the screen. Its Rahman show apart from Superstar.. He is in form with foot tapping songs which is already certified as blockbuster. "Kadhal anukkal", "irumbila oru", "kilimanjoro", "Arima"---sure to enjoy in the screen. BGM is fantastic with some guitars, and trumpets fires the screen.Next-gen music ......
Rathnavelu photography is stupendous and lighting's grabs attention.. E-train scenes and pre- climax scenes will show his prowess. Sabu ciril art is creative and colorful. Graphical(VFX ) work by Stanford studios, USA is Awesome...Mind blowing for the Indian cinema. Special effects matching Robo Rajini and Vaseegaran is cool...Stunts by Peter Hains matches the Hollywood standards . thumbs up..
Sujatha is the another hero with this witty one liners and futuristic,social message dialogues . Editing by Anthony is Top notch..Shankar, the mammoth at last has given a great bashing entertainer too be specific, the last 30 min. The first half is commercial.. with Indianised script .As captain of the movie he extracted lot of work from his team..The movie has its originality.
Weakness
The film is little lengthy..(feels..) The scenes after the interval are dragged and it could have been made interesting than shot one. But few song placement is also a drawback.. one duet could have been put in the first half.
But weakness are overtaken by the superstar, Shankar and his team. Sun pictures with its massive marketing,Endhiran is clearly a super buster. Thumbs up to Sun picture for making this big budget movie .
