Dhanush 3 rd outing with the director Mithran R.Jawhar Uttama Puthiran proves to be clean-fun family entertainer. Chemistry:)!!!! between actor and director in the industry looks good( which is now rare in kollywood industry). All his two movies are remake and this too Telugu movie remake Ready.

Story
Siva ( Dhanush) is studious and lovable guy lives in very big( lot of stars.....vareee vaa) joint family. He promises to kidnap the girl who is friends lover from the marriage hall, unfortunately it goes awry as he kidnaps wrong girl named Pooja(Genelia) . But Pooja is happy , thank Siva and his Friends for kidnapping as she doesn't like this forced marriage arranged by his goonda Periyappa's in order to get their 100 crore property and wealth as her parents died in Accident. They started to chase them, Siva promises to help Pooja to drop her in Pudukottai friends house due to his guiltiness and his love towards Pooja
Fate plays here. Pooja friends family went out and will be back by a week. So Siva plans her stay in his big family,makes all arrangements and frauds. In this scenario, Genelia falls for Siva due to lovable family and his kind heartiness. Siva's family plans for their marriage where Pooja's Periayyappa( Ashis vidyarthi) takes her to the village to marry his son. Finally, Dhanush comes to know about her family and brothers Echo clash.
He plans a big drama,join as assistant to their family Auditor Emotional Ekambaram(Vivek) gets in to her house. Tries to reunite the entire family apart from the echoes with the help from his family too. what is the end is all Subham told in a simple,generous and humorous scenes.
Strengths
It is cake walk role for Dhanush. He shined well and underplayed in the second half sharing more space with Vivek. But looks dull as his enthusiasm is less compared to previous films. Genelia after a long time looks beautiful and her presence is gracious in the screen. Both pair looks riveting in the screen and her expressions are cool. Then director Mithran has to applauded for handling such a big star cast and provide equal footage to show case their performance. Bhagayaraj, Ashisvidyarthi, Jayaprakash,Mayilsamy as sandy, Aarthi, Rekha, ambika stands out in their role.
But it is all Emotional Ekambaram show!!!!!!!! Vivek has come with one of his best and memorable performance. It is laugh riot when he makes in the screen. With his doubted,timid looks , body language & shocking expressions will sure bring down the audience.He is in the top form without vulgar dialogues, routine comedy.
Editing is cool, whereas photography by Balasubramaniam catches the viewers attention in the songs as well as in the scenes. Music by Vijay Antony is already a hit and the pick of the lot is " Usimalrrisay" "thooral poodum" and well pictured too. Background score is good. Dialogues by Mithran has potrayed the traditional family culture . Costumes are colorful too.
Weakness
First half of the movie test your patience to an extent. Freshness lack in the script is draw back. lot of scenes remind you Maddys starrer Ethiri, Ghilli, Telugu movie Atta etc... No body gets the hint in the mind about Dhanush,Genelia drama till the climax as they are portrayed as mindless people. Songs are not placed in the right situation.
At last the movie sure will make you paisa vasool and will appeal to mass & family audience.
Verdict: 5/10( 1 for the lead pair, 1 for Vivek, 1 for songs, 1 for the star cast& performance, 1 for photography)
