Story
Lingam(sakthi) a younger son of Naseer who is go-cool guy, enjoys with his friend,wastes /cheats money of his father, a jobless youth( how many times......!!!!!!!) has applied for a IT job in US.Till then, he rom-com the streets in his village. His brother Chandran(Adthiya) works in hyderabad is enjoying the patronage from his parents beacause of his job/recognition. chandran is best buddy to his brother Lingam. Naseer is proud of his elder son Chandran.
Later Sakthi sees a girl Priya(Ramya Nambeesan) who is the sister of Indra(Meera vasudevan). Indra struggles to get a groom because of her age though she is beautiful. Priya and Lingam slowly falls in love. But fate plays that her sister has got a groom but with the condition that priya should be marriged to grooms brother. Lingam takes this issue to his dear brother. Realising his true love Chandran accepts to marry Indra--pay ways to Lingam love. chandran takes Indra to hyderabad where she is shocked to see that her husband is not a business man but a deadful dron, not even known to their families.
Lingam comes to meet his brother to hyderabad where he comes to know the truth. Lingam has a enemy Prabhu(Ravi kale) who is jail for his rowdism. Commisioner of police issue shooting order for chandran, whereas He kidnaps Commisioner daughter has the prey. Lingam suggest his brother to live all this activities alteast for father wish. He hands over the girl to commisioner with condition that he needs to cancel the encounter order on his brother and gets a month time to change his brother.Chandran too accepts the challenge and turns as good from the baddy but Prabhu again tries to raise the enemity. what happen the next 30 days? Sakhti's moves and strategies worked out? ....
Strengths
Sakthi at his best tried to be action hero has passed the test with Elan. lot of improvement in dance,fights ,expressions. Joy of watching him in the screen as he gets comedy naturally. Adthiya this time plays a role with negative shade has done tremendous job. Meera vasudevan and Ramya with their homely looks fit the bill. Movie though has a old story , travels rapidy without boredom from start to end. Credit to debutant director for the racy second half. Love scenes between the lead pair is quite entertaining in the first half.Few twist and turns in the second half differentiate Attanayagan from the recent pot boilers
Santhanam & jeeva combination rocks with witty oneliners and timing comedy. Nasser,Ravikale played their role well. Photography is good- as it satsifies the commercial content with some imaginative shots. Stunts are okay as the legs are mostly down the floor and not in the air.
Weakness
Rowdy stories , rowdy trying to turn a humble man story...1000th timein tamil movie. Srikanth deva is getting Repetative in the recent days. not even a song stays in your mind which is the bread & butter for a commercial fare.
Attanayagan is decent fare for families and paisa vasool audience.
