Story
Nandha( Cheran) who is struggling music director in film industry is back to chennai after meeting a producer in bangalore.He meets a stranger Arjun(Prassana)on the way..gets in to his car for travel to chennai..both of them are different in their characters, life,attitude..after some strange incidents they become close and they reveal their ghostic past..
Nandha is married to Indhu(Nikita) but he is not happy..as she is women-centric women doesn't get the word of Nandha..she lives her IT industry life roaming with his boyfriends..She doesn't give divorce also..because all the assets and money are in his name( her father's act)....on the time he comes across Lavanya(Hari priya) who is from orphange ...she is very much similar too Nandha's style of life..slowly Nandha falls for her charm and she too....Then the story of Arjun reveals..Arjun..born with silver spoon, a go-care business magnet son....falls in love with her office collegue Linda( Suma)
Initially she avoids him..knowing about the millionare;'s attitude and their false life..but slowly she is flattered by Arjun and they fall in love..one day...she goes with his dad for a foreign trip and then after coming down she dies because Arjun father rapes her in trip...sudden of the track ..Arjun comes with a deal that he will kill her bad wife and for the sake Nandha needs to kill his Father...Nandha thinks that is bad..and walks out..but all of sudden Arjun kills Indhu in planned car accidents..and follows Nandha for favor to kill his father with few sketched plans..what happens is played in interesting and surprise screenplay which makes the end....fine...
Strengths
It is Rajan, the director treatment and the crispy dialogues makes the movie work big time..Though inspired from the Hollywood flick..his screenplay went out with Autopsy...making the movie suitable to local audience..He has handled this script in diligent way. Editior has to be given cheers..his cross cuttings, scenes placement are good..has given great support to the director. Background score is impressive with Sajan though songs fail to get the attention. Photography on the highways are commendable as it takes the natural places look like a perfect shots.....
Prassana undoubtedly one of the best after Anjathey..As Arjun ..reflects the cool suave, a millionaire guy, big-buck attitude in shocking way...he is perfect bill and audience can enjoy his complete changeover of his character,body language,tone,slang in the second half..he is the darling of the movie...good actor not utilised in the industry.. Cheran is good for the innocent role though the guitar ..musical guy role doesn't gel with his matured face..Nikitha is fine..Haripriya looks beautiful in tradition attire and performs in her department ....good show...Suma too beautiful and present the character replica of the Anglo Indian girl and her looks/costumes...
Weakness
Logic miss in the thriller..well planned Prasanna...why should he always get to the innocent guys help to kill his father..has he himself a master planner..few scenes test your patience..second half drags a little bit to show Prassana villainous act...songs are speed breakers and none of them impress us..
