Story
Movie starts in a secret laboratary where the SHIELD head Nick ( Samuel Jackson) and his team in the research of high tech cube which makes human easy to enter the space..simply ...the door for space...and also secretly involved in making more powerful,next gen weapons using the cube technology....but a alien space person Lokhi(Tom Hiddleston)...brother of Thor has other plans with the cube..he comes to our world..through the cube..and takes Hawk eye(Jeremy Renner) and the doctor with him...warns SHIELD that a war would come with the world and he needs to rule the earth..destroys the laboratory.
Goverment getting words what to do...but again get back Avengers which has been banned for sometime in the country..initailly the goverment doesn't nod the head for the Avengers plan..but Nick takes the toss, gets in bringing together all the people...after the initially misunderstanding who is powerful,intelligent, clever comes together to save the world ..joins hands.. Black widow( Scarlette Johnsson) takes care of bringing the Hulk(Mark Ruffalo) , doctor..who doesnt want to get back to monster..but accepts the offer to help in research...Iron man(Robert Jr )gets into the project with Captain America( Chris evans) joins the war...Lokhi gets caught in the fight with help of Thor (Chris Hemswoth)and puts him in a custody..in a invisible ..giant Air ship..where all the plans are worked out by SHIELD..but they are confused why he needs to surrender..and whats his plan?
In this situation,their ship gets attacked by Hawak eye and his team..rescues Lokhi..but at the same time..through Black widow reveals the secret of lokhi plan...gets back Hawak Eye too..wooo..his plan is to bring all his space men from his nation through cube indulge them in the war by opening the space door for them..all super heroes ..worth of their individual skills and heroics...turn against evil ...saves the world by fighting aliens in bloody battle...
Strengths
It is absolutly the star cast..bringing in all the superheroes and watching them with their stunts..strengths..punches...comic liners...brilliance is awesome...Robert Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans have more space in performance..in specific...Robert jr scores in his fun liners and punches..emotions are well handled...and has got the right expressions from all the super heroes..though few garners attention ..all the superheroes does their jobs..Chris Evans,Mark with his anger with Lokhi, Jeremy with bow/arrow stunts...Chris Hemsworth with gigantic looks.are good ..only girl in the team..Scarlett looks beautiful..sexy with her black widow outfit..also scores in the middle of the team... acting is brought well with the cast and handled the cast spectacularly..
Photography is in all form..flying well with superhero..in the streets of Manhattan...well captures the cubic space opening scenes...Music adds pepper and flavor to the avengers ..with background score takes us to the other level...action sequences are well choreographed..even all the superheros get equal space and individuality in the stunts are brought up with bang......CG in the last 30 min is amazing...with new kinda species running around the cities...bombs and bullets..arrive in style...the giant airship..air fights..are quite entertaining..the direction work by co ordianting all the stars is tough job and Josh whedon done it with ease...even the expectation of the cinegoers are fullfilled with some great actions and screenplay...
Weakness
First half of movie in bringing the superheros together took some time..but that is the place where movie gets in to little dull pace...but that to recoverd by oneliners ...stunts are little similar to climax fight of Transformers.(here to climax fight) ..is similar to a extent...Jeremy Renner, Scarlett, Chris Hemsworth..could have added little spice to the movie..3D is of no use....
Avengers is nothing there to confuse with Ralph and Uma Thurman 1998 movie..its completly different but the only point is fighting /into the war to save the world is plot for both the movie..It is sure for super hero, action lovers..safe bet and whole some entertainment for the summer....
Verdict: 6.5/10( 1.5 for super heros, 1 for photography, 1 for CG, 1 for cast performance, 1for music & editing and 1 for direction)
