Naan Mahan Alla Tamil Movie Review

Karthik fourth outing NMA with suseendran,director of Vennila kabbdi kuzhu fame has created a great expectation in the last few days. NMA is usual commercial movie with stunning screenplay handled aptly with some good music , acting, simple story and witty dialougues.

Story

Jeeva(karthi) is happy go-guy searching for a job but seriously not concerned about it with his small family friendly father, call taxi driver (jayaprakash),mother and sister. He falls in love with priya(kajal) in his friend marriage tries to build up fake failed love story with help of her friend Sudha(neelima) to attract her. Priya also gets attracted to him. They meet in coffee shop, roam in streets of chennai and romance starts. It comes to know to father of Priya, through Jeeva himself as he is guy speak/pours out instantly from the heart what ever he feels. Priya father is not interested as he has not got a job or maturity to handle life.

Jeeva with the help of his friend goes for the collection job where he cant stay for a day( these scenes are highly hilarious and will make u splits in laughter!!!!!!!!!!). On the other track a young lovers murdered their college rowdy friends who molest, rape and kill the girl cut the body in to pieces ,throw it in garbage. Priya father arrange a local gunda who is his customer to warn Jeeva to be out of life but Jeeva is glued and get close to that goonda as they become friends.

One day, Jeeva father is met up with accident but survives.He is been the witness of the young couple murder. The four psycho college guys gets the help of the uncle and sketch a plan to murder Jeeva dad. In a sunny day, Jeeva father is killed with poisonous glass in crowded streets. How jeeva finds the killers lets you to riveting climax .

Strengths

Karthi as Jeeva is at his best. He performs his role with ease and expresses pretty well in the screen.Climax scenes is aggressive and karthi has wonderful screen presence. Kajal is charming ,beautiful and does her limited role gracefully. On screen chemistry is crackiling in the first half. Jayaprakash has his father is glorious to watch and scenes between him & karthi are well bonded.

Though no seperate comdian in the movie, the witty dialgoues and realistic scenes in the first half makes you laugh in theatre. Kudos to suseendran for his heartful effort in penning the screenplay hilariuos and colorful. The tempo in second half raises and makes way for interesting climax. Suseendran has showed his prowseness. Come on suseendran,!!!!!!!! realistic and intersting racy movies in future.

Forgot not to mention Yuvan music and songs. "Iragai pole" is pick of the lot and "andha nilave" is hummable. Backgroud is spellbounding. Photography is fabulous and editing is perfect. Stunt by Anal arasu is spinechilling.Four new guys and don guy ....watch out!!!!

Weakness

Movie theme and some scenes are felt little violent and pls avoid taking children with you. The story is cool but could guess some scenes by the movie freakers.

Naan Mahaan Alla is a complete entertainer with a racy and interesting screenplay will make your paisa vasool...

Verdict:5.5/10(1 for karthi, 1 for Yuvan music,1 for performances, 1 for stunt and 1.5 for direction & script)
