Tron :Legacy 3D movie review

The original film Tron released in 1982 was all about computer technology and human invention on it. Nearly 3 decades gone Walt Disney this time comes out with the sequel Tron:legacy in 3D which was the highly hyped/anticipated movie of 2010

Story

The film starts in 1989 where Kevin Flynn(Jeff bridges) has taken up Encom company as chairman sharing some information with his 7 year old son Sam(Garrett Hedlund )about the cyber world aka digital grid that he's gonna create which will help the world in future. Soon after that night, Kevin disappears as the company sink without the right guidance. 2009 --Sam grows up,pretty careless in his life as well as in career. He is the CEO of Encom but goes to the company only for purpose of hacking it,not even participating in the meeting or growth of company.

Sam's Uncle come , advises him to take part in company activities to attain the dream of his dad. Also gives him the key of secret lab of Flynn. Sam goes to the lab with some laser light--wrong password he lands to the digital grid. He has been taken by the programs in the grid,attaching a code and disc with him,led them to do or die fight. He then realizes that he is the human got in to the grid. He meets Chloe(another Jeff) , who turns a dictator to the grid world searching Kevin ---Sam's father in order to get Kevin disc so that he can invade the world with dangerous programs.

Sam is saved by a special program Quirro(Olivia Wildi) who is one and the last I-Zo ???human hybrid invented by Kevin for the safe world. She takes Sam to Kevin, as Kevin explains why he is hiding ? and cannot get back to real world. Sam gets in to plan which blunderly fails & injures Quirro too in a fight, loses the Kevin disc to Chloe and Tron(both programs are invented by Kevin to safeguard the grid). At last they have only few hrs to get near the door to world and the trio decides to face Chloe all together to save the world from the . whats is the end? is revealed with mind blowing special effects.

Strengths

Thought the story is simple finding dad hiding in program, it is the special effects with strobing light costumes with 3D makes this movie special. Its better to watch in 3D/IMAX 3D screens to enjoy the movie to the core. It is visually brilliant and well executed in the screen. The initial grid fights with scorching bikes-disc, a color coded flight chases, Pubs and entire ambiance of the grid world brought before us is awesome. Music by David sets you to the mood of Cyber grid with some rock strings/bands.
Jeff bridges has portrayed his Kevin and Chloe character brilliantly as he the trump card of the movie. Garrett Hedlund as his son done a fine job. Olivia Wild oozes the audience with some sexy leather tights costumes played her action part well. Photography & special effects challenges the recent techy-movies . Chases and stunts are quite imaginative. The movie keeps us entertained from the word go.... it will be great for the person who has viewed the original movie.

Weakness

Story and the screenplay wise it is not the best of the original Tron in 1982. For the first timer it may sound little awkward with the theme,lights ----overdosed of special effects......may be!!!!!!!!!!!Climax lacks punch...

Tron: Legacy is visual brilliance than of strong content. It is sure a entertainer for the action sci-fi lovers
