The Dark knight rises Movie review

       The last of the series, with the tag line the legend ends...yes The Dark knight rises finally hit the screen with humid expectation directed by visionary director Christopher Nolan. It is very tricky to the last part of the trilogy to give a box office success becasue of the high expectation on the previous sequels. But Nolan gives a sensational end to this Batman with a terrific screenplay...

Story
       Opens with a bang ..where the nuclear scientist with deadly killer Bane(Tom Hardy) taken in the custody in a flight...then happens on air fight and Bane with scientist are saved by their team killing  few army persons. In to the Gotham city, the city commissioner Gordan( Gary) in the Harvey Dent death ceremony....spreading up his heroic act to the people of the city( watch out previous part the Dark knight..) ..a Jewel thief/ freelancing burglar Selina Kyle / Cat woman( Anna Hathaway)...Superb performance....steals a jewel from the Bruce Wayne /batman( Christian Bale) house...also his Finger prints..

         Bruce wayne seems to be  in dark , reckless and dejected for the last 7 years and doesn't take part in company acts...and also Bat suit to protect the city because of haunted past..City no need for Batman....But all of the sudden Gordon is injured in a tunnel hunt and fears the city is in danger...none of them wants the Hero back..except John Blake a honest officer..Slowly the city is taken by Bane and few killers  ....With the help of Selina, Bane with the finger prints of Bruce raids all the stock market money making the Wayne enterprises to loss.Bane represents himself as a liberator but he's really a destroyer, a deceiver of a weak, easily misled populace..so..the nuclear project goes in to the hands of philantrofist and millianore Miranda (Marion Cotillard)..who takes care of Wayne enterprise with the help of Fox( Morgan) and Bruce..Selina doesn't know about behind act...

      Sooner to save the people and the city.. Bruce gets into the Batman suite..he comes to know about Bane, who is none other , but a member of League of Shadows where he got trained....he under estimates him...gets the help of Catwoman/Selina to take him to Bane...mysterious Catwoman, put Batman in a trap ..beaten up to pulp by the Hell Bane, broken his back ..Bane puts him a underground Prision, where he born and brought up, growls to bring down the city....Catwoman feels guilty after knowing Bruce is the batman..At fine day, Bane takes over the city and sets up the nuclear bomb ....In the prision, Bruce comes to know the truth about him within and with out of his life, escapes from the prision..and gets back to the duty of saving people with the help of Gordan and Cat woman... spectacular end with all twist and turns....

Strengths

   The ensemble cast is huge and not a single person lets the film down. Bale has never been strong as Batman ..he is fittest batman and his strong presence in the movie with the great villains is felt..though his part is less..he as come up with best performance .  Gary old Man-Levitt as investigative officer, Morgan free man are outstanding in their outings..every body played their part well and supportive casting makes the movie even more bigger...Marion collard portrayed her mysterious and suspenseful Miranda beautifully....Tom hardy was equally brilliant with deadly masked beast though no where near to the joker...
           But the dark horse is Anna Hathaway....Anna was criticised badly when chosen for the iconic Catwoman...but she silenced the critics with star performance..she played con and cunning and her expressions, walk and voice tone are nothing short of Amazing.....Hell of the performance..Could have shared little more screen space would have done Majic....Anna was lovely -slinky with her catsuit costume..hotttt....and seductive...hard work on stunts and character variation for both Bale and Anna are visible in the screen..

        Technically the film is top-notch..Hans Zimmer score is rocking and it was thundering ..without his contribution the movie would have been pale, deaf & dumby....photography and the locations are grand ..it is visual extravaganza....Editing ensured the pace of the movie..though it is long...VFX was intelligent and used significantly to this epic Saga...Nolan screenplay and direction is magnificient...movie starts up slowly, introduces few new characters, catches up and get into jaw-dropping, edge seat when it reaches the climax.... Nolan doesn’t have that luxury, and creates these entire moments on film that are just beautiful. The Dark Knight, a film so confident and expertly crafted that Nolan achieved that rare feat of a sequel surpassing its predecessor....yes, Nolan has carefully made this third one and surpassed the expectation...Mid air hijack, demolition of Rugby field, climax sets us the tension and goose-bumps inducing pace are the biggest attractions.....

Weakness

          Every one compared the previous one ..and that too...joker with Bane...the movie has a story but then it comes again with similar line of saving the city....first half gets a feel of little long and little slow because of new characters and scenes...

Unless other superhero movies, Batman depends on Gadgets and brains....This 2 hour 45 min movie is intelligent, thrilling, brutal and racy with some fantastic visuals ..surprising twist and turns is a master-piece...

Verdict: 8/10( 1 for Christian Bale, 1 for Anna Hathaway., 1 for casting & performance, 1 for Music,1 for Photography, 1 for Stunts, 1 for great visuals and 1 for Nolan screenplay & direction)
