Story
Is it there....?Alex pandian( Karthi) and Chitra( Anushka) chased by villains in train and helicopter..after the fight.they both fell in the river..few months later..Alex pandian stays in the village home where Santhanam and three of his lovely sisters( Nikitha, Sanusha, ??) live there with their mother ..slowly all the three sisters fall for the charm and innocence of Alex but his brother tries to keep away, traps alex in silly things but again it is boomerang case for santhanam,...on the other hand..few hi tech gang with their photos of Chitra and Alex are searching in the near by village.
Chitra is now in the treatment of ayurveda salai secretly...in the interval they find these two ..as they escape with Santhanam in a car..and there reveals .Alex has kidnapped Chitra who is non other than Chief minister daughter...why he kidnapped her? and why he saves her at the last? is appaaaa//...(what a secret story)...forms the rest of the dumb climax with air fly stunts and crap comedies....and silly twists...
Strengths
Any way there are few pluses which makes the movie watch for the sake of ticket cost...It is Santhanam the one man who takes the whole first half in his shoulder...his usual one liners and funny antics..timing punches will sure tickle your bones...but double-means are also there( pls reduce it Santhanam!!)...with his three sisters and mother ..he is fun to watch with karthi...kudos to the comedian...Karthi does good in stunts and his chemistry with SAnthanam continues to rock..Anuskha is there..three sister did their skin show or show pretty good...
In the technical side..It is DSP's Peppy songs and score makes the audience relax for few minutes.." Thaka Thaya" " onnam class" " bad boys" are foot tapping and the score leads the movie tempo...Photography by saravanan is okay..stunts are bang...
Weakness
Damn it!!!!no story...no powerful script..non sense punches...improper placements of scenes...wasted Milind soman, Prathap pothen, Visu and senior cast terribly..story falls flat in the very first scene of the interval...kidnapping the CM daughter, sudden change as goodie of Alex character, second half dragging-laugh less comedy, wooden chemistry with lead pair..and at last...Suraaj dull direction makes the movie a bad movie in the commercial entertainer...no other factor remains with us after seeing the movie and coming out of the theater.....
Alex Pandian...there is nothing to said good except santhanam and DSP...why the hell they advertise and promote this much in the media????Karthi and Anushka are versatile actor..pls do look into the scripts..Blame Suraaj..for the movie
Verdict: 2.5/10( 1 for Santhanam,1 for DSP Music and .5 for Stunts)
